Quality, seasonal products and tasteful. Those are the ingredients of Restaurant Amfora. Guests of our hotel and visitor alike can visit us for a gastronomic meal, a fresh pancake, a snack of just a drink at the bar. We serve traditional kitchen with a modern touch on the basis of high-quality regional products, everything cooked with great care by our patron Dominique and his son Glenn.

Our menu

Just like the interior of our restaurant our menu was recently completely renewed. Something to everyone’s taste, that’s what this high-quality, delicious kitchen is all about. Regional products play a central role. From hop shoots and poperingse Hennepot to cod at the “Schreve”. In the bar you will also find regional beers on tap, like Poperings Hommelbier and Sint Bernardus Triple.

Take a seat at a table, at our bar or on the sun terrace and enjoy ... For the real gourmets among us the Restaurant offers culinary packages.

Are you allergic? Make sure to let us know and we will suggest a special dish for you.

At the restaurant orders are taken until 9 pm. The bar is open from 10 am to midnight. Out of respect for our hotel guests we close punctually.

Menu of the month and friday lunch

Every month we suggest a 3-course menu of the month.

On Friday we serve a lunch with soup and a main dish for € 18.

Breakfast buffet

Our visitors who do not stay at the hotel are also very welcome to join in for our large breakfast buffet. We do ask you to book in advance. Feet under the table, wake up quietly and enjoy ...

The price of the breakfast is € 18 p.p.

Our buffet includes:

  • Coffee, tea, hot chocolate
  • Water, apple juice, tomato juice, fresh orange juice
  • Egg of your choice, served at the table
  • Fresh smoked salmon, cold meats (salami, parma ham, boiled ham, paté, Watou cheese, rillette), fresh fruit salad, low-fat yoghurt, chocolate spread, honey, jam, chocolate sprinkles, gingerbread, cornflakes
  • Rolls, baguette, multi-grain bread, toast, selection of bread.
